L.A. is one of the most popular states in California, known for its Hollywood celebrities, upscale shopping, and its beautiful tall palm trees.
When in Los Angeles, a popular place to visit is the Universal Studios Hollywood. You can take advantage of the tours, attractions, and rides. There are also dozens of characters that walk around the site that are approachable for photos. There is the Studio Tour with King Kong 360 3-D where you can go behind the scenes and see Hollywood's famous movie studio. Rides include Tranformers: The Ride 3-D, The Simpsons Ride, Revenge of the Mummy and Jurassic Park, where you see dinosaurs, like a 50 foot T-Rex and plunge vertically down an 84 foot raft.
Hollywood's Universal Studios is fun for people of all ages, teens get the thrill of the rides, children get to meet their favourite dressed up characters, and there are also fun activities for adults. If you feel like you can handle it, feel free to take a tour through the House of Horrors and prepare yourself for a big spook and to scream your heads off. If you feel like that is too intense for you, you can choose to participate in the Terminator 2: 3-D experience where you flash forward into the future of the Terminator. There is also the WaterWorld where you can sit back and relax and watch an exciting tidal wave of explosive action.
Walt Disney Concert Hall
Another popular attraction while visiting Universal Studios Hollywood is the Walk Disney Concert Hall located at 111 South Grand Avenue , Downtown Los Angeles. Building began in 1992 after funds were received from private donations, the Disney family and The Walt Disney Company. The building's exterior is constructed entirely of stainless steel making in a magnificent sight compared to that of the Sydney concert hall in Sydney, Australia. However, this stainless steel construction would lead to reflection problems once completed. The reflective finish would cause unwanted glare disturbing residents of the neighboring condominiums caused by sunlight that was reflected off the surfaces and focused in a manner similar to a parabolic mirror. These reflective problems would lead to an already over budgeted project by having the constructors lightly sand the panels ultimately reducing the glare.
The Walt Disney Conert Hall should definitely be on any tourists list of attractions they wish to visit.
